Scrutinising sustainability and transformation partnerships (STPs)

November 9, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

£195
The ongoing national and local changes to health and social care delivery make it increasingly complicated to identify accountabilities and hold providers and commissioners to account.

The development of STPs in 2016 have altered the landscape of local delivery even further. Understanding the impact of STPs, identifying the best routes to engage with the NHS and other partners, and using the levers open to health scrutiny are all essential to help deliver needed change and efficiencies whilst safeguarding essential services for local people. This course will explain how STPs will alter delivery locally, unpack some of the new terms and developments associated with STPs such as Accountable Care Systems, New Models of Care and Vanguards and help delegates plan how to better hold health partners to account.

“The whole day was useful: there is a lot here that can be applied to the scrutiny process in general. Always find exchanging views with colleagues useful” – feedback from 2016 health event attendee.

Places cost £195 + VAT per person for Local Authority delegates and £225 + VAT per person for commercial sector delegates.

Buy 3 get 1 free – In recognition that authorities may benefit from sending multiple delegates to the same training event. This discount is applied automatically at check-out.
