Sunita is an experienced consultant, coach and facilitator drawing on her 30 years’ plus experience in local government. She has extensive experience in leading teams, working with elected members, and providing strategic policy advice and support to leaders in a variety of contexts and settings. Sunita takes a systems approach in her consultancy and coaching work with individuals and teams.
With a focus on culture and behaviour and an interest in the dilemmas that decision makers face, Sunita is passionate about improving performance of individuals and teams through addressing and overcoming challenges to sustain positive change.
She has been a long-standing associate consultant with CfGS and has worked extensively with elected members and senior managers to develop the scrutiny role and function as well as its position in supporting overall governance.
Her knowledge and expertise of political contexts, governance, partnership and collaborative working, as well as experience in diversity and equalities issues have led her to deliver projects which have included strategic improvement reviews, facilitation, running action learning sets and mediation work.
